It is not common to wear anything under leather shorts at Oktoberfest. Traditional Bavarian attire typically involves wearing leather shorts (Lederhosen) without any undergarments. However, some people may choose to wear underwear for comfort or personal preference. Ultimately, it is up to individual choice whether to wear anything under leather shorts at Oktoberfest. **

It ultimately depends on personal preferences. If you enjoy live music and a lively atmosphere, a concert may be the better choice. However, if you prefer traditional German food, beer, and cultural activities, Oktoberfest could be more appealing. Both events offer unique experiences, so it's worth considering what you value most in a social outing. **

Oktoberfest beer tents are large temporary structures set up in Munich, Germany for the annual Oktoberfest celebration. These tents are where visitors can enjoy traditional German beer, food, and music in a festive atmosphere. Each tent is sponsored by a different brewery and has its own unique decorations and entertainment. Oktoberfest beer tents are a central part of the festival experience and are a popular destination for both locals and tourists. **

Oktoberfest is called so because it originally began as a celebration of the October 12th, 1810 wedding of Crown Prince Ludwig of Bavaria and Princess Therese of Saxony-Hildburghausen. The citizens of Munich were invited to attend the festivities, which included horse races, food, and beer. Over time, the event evolved into the annual festival known as Oktoberfest, which now takes place in late September and early October. **
